Argo and the Violet Queens is a conceptually driven psychedelic rock band that blends surreal stage props with video collages to create an immersive world in which the audience lives for the duration of their show. Sonically, all four members make unique contributions to the band’s overall sound as they weave through explorations of what the 20th century’s preeminent genres can be once altered by live experimentation.

A rising post-punk band out of Brooklyn, NY recently signed to Mint 400 Records. Last year’s album “Intro to Basement” ushered in a new audience for the band and peaked at #119 on National indie & college radio charts. They continue to pack historic Northeast venues such as Mercury Lounge & Baby’s All Right and are known for their chaotic & genre-bending live shows. They recently made their 2nd appearance at New Colossus Festival, a showcase festival for bands around the world.
