Wrizzards (aka Washington Rizzards) are a Filipino multi-genre collaborative collective based in the DMV area. The group consists of four rising musicians: Leif, J Matty, Bema Tadey, and Tina Carzon, well-known for making a sensational mark within the DMV community, with their catchy tunes that you’ve probably heard of.

When together, the Rizzards are either cooking up in the studio, having jam sessions, or geeking. Otherwise, they’re just four friends who happen to be in sync with each other’s wild ideas through music, and frequently perform at local shows and events as solo artists.

LEIF

LEIF is a pop, rock, R&B, singer-songwriter, and record producer based in the DMV area. His music embodies multiple styles inspired by late 90’s and early 2000’s rock to early 2000’s pop and R&B. He is a member of pop duo, LUCID, where their hit single ‘Lucid’ took off and landed a spot on Spotify Editorial’s playlist, Nu Disco. He is also a member of VA-based collective called GLDN TCHRS, as well as the co-founder of Up2NoGood Music Group.

J Matty is a pop artist and singer-songwriter, known for his breakout single “You Changed Me” which gained some virality on TikTok. His music embodies his wide array of music influences blending genres such as pop, R&B, country, hip-hop, nu disco, and more. Bema Tadey

Bema Tadey is a Filipino singer-songwriter and producer based in the DMV. Tadey started singing and playing the piano at a very young age. At 12 years old, she started writing songs, playing the guitar, and producing her own songs. As years passed, Bema Tadey solidified her craft as an artist honing in Western Pop, R&B, and OPM influences.

In 2021, Bema Tadey released her first single, “Off My Mind,” a heartfelt song about the pain of loving someone. Since then, Bema Tadey’s songs have earned over 20,000 streams across all streaming platforms.

Tina Carzon

Born in Manila, Philippines, Tina Carzon is a Washington, D.C. multifaceted artist and singer-songwriter, who grew up in a musically inclined environment. Recently based in Maryland, they are self-taught in guitar and piano growing up from their parents’ influence. Inspired by artists such as Sade, Enya, Gal Costa, Astrud Gilberto, their style of music is ever changing with a blend of alternative and contemporary R&B, neo-soul, and bossanova. Their unique sound moves listeners in a trance of their choice with Tina’s genre-bending artistry. Tina aims to create music that heals through storytelling and personal and interpersonal experiences.
