Maoli, referred to as Hawaii and Polynesia’s No. 1 independent commercial recording artist, has transcended borders with their extraordinary talent, capturing the hearts of music enthusiasts worldwide. The band,which is fronted by Glenn Awong, formed in 2007 and has since performed across the U.S., New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific. 

In 2020 Maoli won group of the year and album of the year for their record Sense Of Purpose at iHeart’s Island Awards, followed by album of the year and song of the year in 2021. In 2023 the band embarked on the Maoli Music Overload (MMO) tour selling more than 45,000 tickets across four cities in Hawaii, in addition to selling 11,500 tickets on the MMO US tour plus several Festival appearances including Cali Roots and Holo Holo Fest Sacramento.

Drawing from influences like Sheryl Crow, Lauryn Hill, Shania Twain, Stevie Wonder and Selena, Lindsay James delivers a fresh mix of Coastal Country, R&B and Soul.

With a sound that radiates honesty and authenticity, her Texas charm, discerning sense of style, and alluring spunk will quickly draw you in, but it’s James’ infectious energy, unwavering faith, and relatability that will quickly make you fall in love with the Houston, TX native.

Lindsay’s effortless sense of style and unassuming charm has landed her collaborations with brands like Imogene + Willie, Wheatley Vodka, Fireball, Sazarak and more on the horizon.

She is set to release her new EP this November.
