Union Stage All Ages

About the event

Unhinged Entertainment Presents comedian Gabe Mollica’s Off-Broadway hit “Solo: a show about friendship” comes to City Winery for the first time. Directed by Greg Walloch (Hasan Minhaj’s Homecoming King,) “Solo” is a one-man show that begins with an admission. “I turned 30 and realized I don’t have any friends.” From there Gabe fills in the hour with jokes and stories about male friendship, his love of Stephen Sondheim, and Taco Bell. “Solo” has run at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Off-Broadway for 3 extensions at the historic SoHo Playhouse in Manhattan.

“Very funny, sweet not sappy, intricate Birbigian storytelling.” –Jason Zinoman, The New York Times

“A huge treat. Gabe is a master storyteller. He’s warm, self-deprecating, and truly hilarious. I was hooked from the moment he started speaking.”–Catherine Burns, Artistic Director, The Moth

“I love Gabe’s new show. We became pals out in Edinburgh where I watched him pour blood, sweat, and tears into it. Now you get to go see it. Grab tickets ASAP.”
