About the event

ADAMARE

ADAMARE (ad- to , amare – love) is a group of multi-instrumentalist musicians who happen to all be teachers at the same DC public school. Often described as soul-jazz-rock fusion, the band combines punchy rhythms, sultry singing, evocative lyrics, and stirring soul. After forming in late 2021, the band has finally had the opportunity to start recording and playing shows after the COVID school shutdowns. The band will release its first EP during the spring of 2023. With Giavanti Greenaugh on bass, Nate Harris on keys, Ben Byrd and Joe Robinson on guitar, Alex Baron on drums, and the incredible Claire Tucker on vocals, this soul-jazz-rock fusion group is ready to take the music to the next level.

Robbi Free

Robbi Free is a dynamic artist hailing from Washington DC, whose journey through the world of creative expression spans over a decade and a half. A true polymath.

Her artistic odyssey commenced early as elementary school, penning poems and song lyrics. Drawing inspiration from trailblazing figures like Lauryn Hill, Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, Kanye West, and Eminem. Robbi Free has seamlessly woven her influences into a unique artistic tapestry.

The pandemic served as a catalyst for Robbi to cease merely harboring her talents, prompting her to step into the realm of music production. In March 2023, she unveiled her inaugural single, “Kiss it up to God,” a testament to her determination and creative verve. Presently, she’s fervently engaged in crafting her debut album, aptly named “Revelations,” promising to be a melodic voyage imbued with her distinctive voice and narrative.
