Liniker e os Caramelows
Liniker e os Caramelows
From the city Araraquara, in the countryside of São Paulo, Liniker e os Caramelows had a meteoric success since the release from her first EP on YouTube, named "Cru" (2015). The answered was unexpected. The single "Zero" had more than 1 million views less than a week – today is more than 11 million views – which led the group to a tour for the country with 80 concerts in 8 months.

In next year, the group recorded their first album "Remonta" (2016), a Red Bull Studios, in SP. The album was produced by Marcio Arantes and had participation of Marcelo Jeneci, Assussena Assussena and Raquel Virgínia (As Bahias e a Cozinha Mineira), Xênia França, Tulipa Ruiz, Tássia Reis, Aeromoças e Tenistas Russas (ATR) and Thiago França.
With a mix from R&B, Soul, Brazilian Music and African in a short lifetime; Liniker e os Caramelows went from North to South with Remonta Tour, performing in renowned festivals, Popload (São Paulo), Bananada (Goiânia), Rec-Beat (Recife), Psicodália (Rio Negrinho), Meca (Inhotim), MADA (Natal) and BR-135 (São Luís) and in and iconic stages like Circo Voador, Ópera de Arame, Teatro Municipal de São Paulo and Rock in Rio.

In the same year, Liniker e os Caramelows won an award from Premio Multishow in revelation category and they were highlight thirdly, by Rolling Stone Brasil from the list of best albums 2016. They started great musical partnerships, like the project Salada de Frutas with another artist (Tássia Reis, Assussena Assussena e Raquel Virginia (As Bahias)) dialoguing about gender and representativeness with independent music, and new spaces for it. After that, become to be a partner in the stages with Elza Soares, Johnny Hooker, Linn da Quebrada, etc.

With all this impact, in 2017 Liniker Barros and her music crossed the frontier. The premier happened at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, USA. After that, the group (Renata Éssis (backing vocals), Marja Lenski (Percussion), Rafael Barone (bass), William Zaharanszki (guitar), Péricles Zuanon (drums), Fernando TRZ (keyboards) Graziella Pizani (trumpet) and Eder Araújo (sax) had a long schedule in the European summer, with 12 concerts. They played in France, Germany, England, Portugal and Spain. Pointing Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, Cabaret Sauvage in Paris and Casa da Música in Porto. After they returned to USA, playing at SummerStage Festival in New York and doing opening concerts in Latin America (Bogotá and Medellín, in Colombia).

After this intense movement, 2017 continued to see additional concerts around the country and an international tour. The 2018 schedule proves as exciting as 2017.
Nag Champa
Nag Champa
Primarily based out of Washington, DC, Nag Champa Art Ensemble is more about organic sounds and textures. Since the band's founding in 2014, performances at local venues such as The John F. Kennedy Center, The Smithsonian American Art Museum & Black Cat quickly cemented the group amongst critics and casual music fans alike. The band creates an otherworldly sound that can best be described as futuristic funk, blending house music with jazz, hip-hop, go-go and more elements that sound like something from another universe. A group comprised of musicians of many different disciplines, close to half of their performances are improvised. Developing their sound in consistent jam sessions. This practice originates from their experience in the worlds of avant garde jazz and experimental hip hop. The members of Nag Champa look to serve as cultural ambassadors to the Nation's Capitol, performing around the district with artists from New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Taiwan, Japan & beyond.
