Run River North
Run River North
The Los Angeles-based, indie outfit Run River North release sophomore album Drinking From A Salt Pond led by lead single “Run Or Hide.” The album lands at #6 on the Billboard Heatseekers’ chart and #3 on the Alternative New Artist Albums’ chart. Working with producer Lars Stalfors (Cold War Kids, Deap Vally, HEALTH, Matt and Kim), the band leaves behind its familiar folksy roots to craft an ambitious rock album. The band performed the single for NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, MTV’s Wonderland and lands Top 30 on the Alternative Radio chart. The band’s self-titled debut album landed at #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Produced Phil Ek (Built To Spill, The Shins, Father John Misty), NPR writes, “Run River North stays the course – and finds success,” and Esquire hails, “Because modern folk this richly layered has a high degree of difficulty. And [Run River North] nail the landing.” The band has also performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, VH-1 “Big Morning Buzz,” CMT “Concrete Country,” Last Call With Carson Daly, and Emmy-winning PBS series Artbound. All this follows features with The Wall Street Journal, NPR ‘Weekend Edition,’ NPR ‘All Things Considered’ NPR ‘Here & Now,’ Entertainment Weekly, American Songwriter, Daytrotter, American Way, KPCC 89.3 Southern CA Public Radio and TeamCoco, the official website of Conan. Run River North is Alex Hwang (lead vocals, guitars), Daniel Chae (vocals, strings), Jennifer Rim (strings), Joe Chun (bass, vocals) and Sally Kang (vocals, keyboards).
Roses and Revolutions
Roses and Revolutions
An indie pop duo based out of Rochester NY, Roses & Revolutions is made up of singer Alyssa Coco and guitarist Matt Merritt. As members of a bigger multi-instrumental band, Coco and Merritt recognized in each other a kindred spirit and in 2014, formed Roses & Revolutions. In the fall of 2016, Coco and Merritt released “The Pines,” a rallying point for fans at shows as well as online with features at Paste, Indie Shuffle, All Things Go, Yahoo! Music and others. Spotify Canada discovered “The Pines,” added it to a playlist, and it took off, eventually reaching #2 on the Viral Chart and today nears one million streams. From the viral success of “The Pines,” the duo booked opening gigs with accomplished acts like Marian Hill, Kaleo, The Head and the Heart, Lucius, as well as their own headlining shows.
Broke Royals
Broke Royals
Broke Royals was not supposed to be a band.

In 2014, after both graduating from William & Mary, Colin Cross enlisted Philip Basnight to record a few demos for Cross to shop to potential clients of his recording studio. Their instant musical chemistry in the studio paved the way for a dynamic partnership and, thus, Broke Royals was born. In just three years, Basnight and Cross have honed a singular sound, been praised by Billboard for their "sing-along, arena-ready sound," named an Artist On The Rise by Southwest Airlines, and one of the best live bands in D.C. by CBS.

The Washington D.C. duo walked back into the studio for a fourth time to record their self-titled, debut album with producer John Naclerio at his famed Nada Recording Studio in New York. Seamlessly integrating traditional rock with new digital elements, the guitar-driven rock, pop hooks, folk harmonies and Cross’s infectious beats fuse gracefully with Basnight's lyrical narratives.

True to the roots of their earliest moments in the studio, Basnight and Cross continue to find new ways to blend inspiration and genres that define their complex modern rock sound.
