School Of Rock
School Of Rock
Yes there is a real School of Rock! You saw the movie and maybe you saw the musical – now see the real kids from School of Rock in action. The original School of Rock founded in Philadelphia in 1998, has now grown into a world-wide phenomenon with over 200 locations serving 25 countries, including here in the Washington DC area.

Paul Green, the inspiration for the Jack Black character in Paramount’s hit movie “School of Rock”, created the school to help our students realize their potential as artists, to put them on stage in front of as many people as possible and to help foster a new generation of incredible musicians. Our locals schools perform hundreds of shows annually across the nation, and locally in venues such as The Fillmore, The 9:30 Club, Jiffy Lube Live, Webster Hall, The Rock and Roll Hotel, Jammin’Java, The Verizon Center, Wildwood Boardwalk, Margharitaville Nashville, The Electric Factory, The Highwood Theatre, The Black Cat, U Street Music Hall, Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse, Ned Devine’s, Gypsy Sally’s, The State Theatre, Nationals Stadium and more...

Today’s show, Play The Hits, will feature music you know and love from the past 50 years of Rock N’ Roll – join us!

School of Rock DC – celebrating 11 years of inspiring kids to ROCK!
